Limestone was used in many ancient structures that still exist today. This humble yet strong and sturdy color will give you confidence and strength. Petro is short for petrified wood, a process where organic materials are replaced with minerals and become fossilized. (Like an event frozen in time). A color is inspired by raw unpolished garnet. It's something in between black, brown, and red. This beautiful relaxing color will help you hit pause. When hit together with steel, flint can make sparks, which can lead to fire. Even though flint is a rather cold color, it brings warmth to every user.
We are Jerry and Alix, a busy husband and wife who wanted to spend more time together. Jerry is a Chemical Engineer and research enthusiast who is now a ceramic expert. Alix is an artist, Chinese interpreter, and coffee lover who deals with anxiety and came up with the Hit Pause method. We spent months researching the right glaze, clay material, shape, and functionality. During our design process, we combined the beauty of handcrafted products with functionality.
